SAIC is actively seeking a Senior Network Engineer to oversee the management of Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communications Systems (JWICS) networks in Army National Guard (ARNG) Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIF). We are looking for someone to provide oversight, mentorship, and feedback to IT Representatives in support of the accreditation, reaccreditation, and maintenance of JWICS IT networks in ARNG facilities in multiple states but will sit in Arlington, VA.

SCOPE: Receives assignments in the form of objectives and establishes goals to meet outlined objectives. Work is reviewed by management to measure meeting objectives and schedules. Provides guidance to others to achieve goals in accordance with established policies.

PROBLEM COMPLEXITY: Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of client's data requires evaluation of various factors including objectives, training audience, and unit missions. Exercises judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Ensures project schedules and performance requirements are met.

Qualifications

Required Education :

• Bachelor’s degree and nine (9) years of experience; four (4) years of experience are accepted in lieu of a degree.

Required Clearance :

• The candidate must possess an active Top Secret Clearance and must be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI.

Required Skills:

• CompTIA A+, Security plus

• Ability to complete complex assignments including the oversight of ARNG IT representatives to maintain accreditation of JWICS IT systems in ARNG SCIFs to support ARNG operations

• Must have experience in management and/or design of classified IT networks, such as server facility, intranet, or local network administration

• Needs experience in oversight and mentorship of IT representatives, including providing formal feedback from inspections and site visits
