ENTRUST Solutions Group Project Manager - Electrical Consulting in Atlanta, Georgia

Description

As a Project Manager, a typical day may include the following:

  • In accordance with the Client’s Project Management process, prepare and/or update financial forecasts, project schedules, and other necessary reports on a weekly or monthly basis, or as required;

  • Lead project meetings, take meeting minutes and distribute to all project team members;

  • Promptly respond to project inquiries from client management or support teams as necessary;

  • Notify project stakeholder immediately in the event that the project is forecast to exceed approved budget or schedule or if significant project issues have been identified;

  • Perform project administrative activities including purchase and change orders, work status verification, processing of unvouchered liabilities, invoice reviews and updating overall project status;

  • Coordinate design development, drawing submittals and review;

  • Manage client relationships to ensure all expectations are understood and met. Work with ENTRUST's management team as necessary to ensure the maintenance of positive client relationships, including the resolution of any client concerns.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university;

  • A minimum of 7 years of relevant work experience managing projects in electric utilities, preferably in distribution and/or substation

  • PMP Preferred

  • Curious and active listener : You have a deep hunger to learn, coupled with a willingness to think outside the box. You ask a lot of questions. You recognize there is a difference between “hearing” and “listening.

  • Resilient and self-motivated: You are always striving to build upon previous successes

  • Detail oriented: The little things matter!
