Job Description

A Fortune 50 Retail client of Insight Global is seeking a Sr. Data/Java Developer for a IT Supply Chain organization. This team is Agile and responsible for aggregating large amounts of supply chain data and analyzing/formatting it. There is also a backend/frontend component to this team, so fundamental knowledge of Java/JavaScript is key. Good communication is required for this role as collaboration is critical.

Skills and Requirements

-7+ years of experience working in software development

-High proficiency working with large amounts of data and doing data analysis

-Strong experience with SQL (Able to do the following: querying, creating joins/tables, select, where clauses, etc.)

-Fundamental knowledge of Java (Streams, API Calls, etc.) and JavaScript

-Exposure to a public cloud like GCP/AWS/Azure

-Experience working with relational databases

-Experience testing -Supply Chain/Retail experience

-Experience with Apache Airflow

-Experience with BigQuery Processing null
