The Automated Mailing Services Vendor Management Team (AMS VMT) is charged with the oversight and support of our third party print and mail vendor Broadridge. The team provides support of Schwab’s client and prospect print communications, acts as a liaison between Broadridge and internal Schwab business partners for all aspects of customer communications that are printed and mailed, as well as overseeing the support of all warehousing of forms and collateral and their distribution across the entire company.
What you’ll do:
As member of the AMS Vendor Management Team, the Vendor Manager position is responsible for supporting the daily production jobs sent to Broadridge for processing. Some specific duties of this position include, but aren’t limited to:
Provide oversight and support as needed for Broadridge to meet Schwab Service Level Agreements (SLA) for all delivered work.
Work closely with Broadridge and other vendors to monitor daily work flow into their factory.
Effectively manage assigned projects associated with vendor management and business partner needs.
Responsible for building strong relationships with vendor and business partners to create effective communication, oversight, and cooperation between all parties.
Proactively work with peers, business partners, and vendors to identify, promote, and facilitate improvements in application processing, controls, and cost.
Make business decisions using appropriate resources, tools, and personal experiences.

What you have:
2-5 years of related experience in a print and mail processing environment preferred
Vendor Management or Customer Service Relations knowledge.
1-3 years of Project Management knowledge.
Ability to apply advanced data management and analytic skills to assess and track vendor performance and opportunities.
Ability to consistently and effectively communicate and build relationships with others.
Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
Clear and concise written and verbal skills.
Ability to manage time and work effectively with minimal direction and/or oversight.
Ability to identify and drive opportunities and project implementation.
Understanding of USPS mailing standards.
Self-motivated, flexible, enthusiastic with a good attitude and able to handle multiple deliverables.
Works to be a positive and creative influence when working within this team, other teams, and business partners.
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Ability to train others on the basic functions of assigned roles and responsibilities, while also being able to step in and provide support for all other aspects of the vendor management team as needed.
Flexibility in assignments and duties.
Flexibility to adjust shift start time or day to support operational needs. Some evening, weekend, and holiday work required depending on assignment.
10% travel required based on business needs.
