Summary of Role:

Responsible for working with stakeholders to build business case models to analyze R&D programs and capacity expansion projects.

Essential Responsibilities:

Responsible for working with stakeholders to build business case models to analyze R&D programs and capacity expansion projects. Drive commercial deals that secure wafer demand into future periods that define the company’s growth and profitability. Carry out investment analysis on overall Capital and R&D portfolio. Orchestrate the generation of executive reports for key committees. Conduct due diligence on complex deals and special projects, analyzing information from different data sources and building robust financial models to support business decisions. Collaborate cross-functionally to define business transformations and drive business-planning activities, including strategy and objectives, annual budget development, and corporate performance measures. Responsible for weekly investment meeting to bring new projects to the team. Monitoring the overall case work and ensuring stakeholders are aligned and creating a cohesive case to support the investment initiative. Responsible for integration into Anaplan and maintaining this system as investment team data base and reporting system.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements, and programs.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education – Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Energy Business, Finance, Accounting, Industrial Engineering, or a related field of study.

  • Experience - 3 years of experience as Financial Analyst or similar role. Three years of experience is required in: (1) Creating a financial model to evaluate investments; (2) Working with product management, driving timelines and business cases; (3) Working with business units to create business cases using market conditions, volumes, unit price; (4) Working with technology organizations in sizing resources to create a program and the associated program cost for business case analysis; (5) Working with industrial engineering team to create tooling requirements and capital expenditures for business case analysis; (6) Working with internal finance teams for costing to develop a business case and assumptions surrounding manufacturing costs; (7) Presenting financial model to senior management; (8) Supervising all team investments and supporting team to create consistent and accurate business cases; (9) Analyzing multiple financials models to create a strategy to grow company margin; (10) Creating sensitivities analysis on financial models around key variables; (11) Converting into new software system of Anaplan and creating reporting and sensitivities that support investment analysis

  • In lieu of Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of experience, employer will accept a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Energy Business, Finance, Accounting, Industrial Engineering, or a related field of study plus one year of experience as Financial Analyst or similar role including one year of experience with (1) Creating a financial model to evaluate investments; (2) Working with product management, driving timelines and business cases; (3) Working with business units to create business cases using market conditions, volumes, unit price; (4) Working with technology organizations in sizing resources to create a program and the associated program cost for business case analysis; (5) Working with industrial engineering team to create tooling requirements and capital expenditures for business case analysis; (6) Working with internal finance teams for costing to develop a business case and assumptions surrounding manufacturing costs; (7) Presenting financial model to senior management; (8) Supervising all team investments and supporting team to create consistent and accurate business cases; (9) Analyzing multiple financials models to create a strategy to grow company margin; (10) Creating sensitivities analysis on financial models around key variables; (11) Converting into new software system of Anaplan and creating reporting and sensitivities that support investment analysis..

Salary range: $87,610– $95,600

Salary range: $87,610– $95,600
