The Core Administration Team operates in an environment that allows them to be an advocate for the client or participant by leveraging their industry, systems and process expertise. Core administration is responsible for the execution, design and consulting on all aspects related to plan distribution and loan functions, payroll and check processing, along with the delivery of statements, participant fee disclosure, and many other service critical functions.
What you’ll do:
Receipts Team Associates manage the reconciliation process of incoming retirement plan contributions and loan repayments against control totals and funding provided by the client. This role requires daily interaction with plan sponsor contacts (email and phone). Associates research and resolve complex contribution processing issues and must be responsive to inquiries and requests from internal partners and clients.
Manage and support daily processing of Receipts Team related functions within Schwab Retirement Plan Services.
Accurately and efficiently process synoptic and contribution related data to ensure participant account information is updated.
Work with internal and external partners on payroll issue analysis and resolution.
Ensure that daily work is processed in a timely manner by monitoring workflow process and escalating issues to appropriate manager when necessary.
Identify opportunities to improve service quality, productivity, and expense control.
Adhere to existing policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Obtain retirement plan industry training.
What you have:
Basic working knowledge of computer and related software applications that may include Excel, Word, and Access.
Experience with SRI recordkeeping trust accounting system a plus.
Ability to process detailed data accurately and efficiently for retirement plans. Knowledge of compliance/legal rules and regulations and how they relate to daily operations and interaction with pension administrators and plan sponsors.
Excellent client contact skills and the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
Strong analytical skills and ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple processes.
