Our Opportunity:

The GDT Marketing technology team is seeking an individual capable of implementing, integrating and maintaining systems that are critical to marketing operations. Integration Engineer will provide integration support in emerging technologies in the Marketing Automation, Workflow and Digital Asset Management domains. As a member of a growing marketing technology team, this role will be integral in taking Schwab’s Marketing architecture to the next level.

What you’ll do

The Applications Integration developer will be responsible for the development, testing and deployment of various marketing integration application projects. The role will interact with business and technology teams to understand integration requirements. Your knowledge of modern development practices will aid in the current adoption of Agile methodologies through continuous integration and deployment strategies leveraging tools like Bit Bucket and Bamboo.

The responsibilities include:

  • Supporting agile based SDLC for software development creating necessary standards, tools and best practices in a clearly documented form

  • Performing configuration and coding changes

  • Coordinating various stages of testing with business and/or other technology teams

  • Completing production implementations and providing production support

  • Developing and maintaining web application web hooks (i.e. Marketo)

  • Enabling API web service calls in console applications (i.e Workfront).

What you have:

  • Strong knowledge and experience working with web services (SOAP, REST), XML , JSON and XSLT preferred

  • 4+ years of enterprise technology related experience in application development using Java/J2EE or .NET/C# with service oriented architectures

  • 2+ years experience creating and consuming API’s integrations with third party applications

  • 2+ years working knowledge of Agile/Scrum Experience

  • 4+ years SQL experience

  • Knowledge of Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence, Bamboo and Bitbucket)

  • 1+ years experience with ETL tools (Informatica, Mulesoft, etc.)

  • Familiarity with big data technologies (HIVE, DRILL, PYTHON, STORM, KAFKA)

  • Familiarity with MapR distribution of Hadoop

  • Knowledge of Marketing applications a plus (Marketo, Workfront, Bynder, etc.)
