Summary of Role: The Staff Risk Management role is a key member of the Risk Management group which oversees the global Corporate Insurance programs of GlobalFoundries. This position provides a core support function for the insurance programs with an opportunity to challenge the status quo for process improvements.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day operations of corporate insurance function including policy administration, NDA management, certificates of insurance for contractual compliance and coordination with broker as needed.

  • Assist Manager in review of insurance provisions in contracts to ensure compliance or proper transfer of risk based on exposure.

  • Gather information and complete the necessary reports to maintain compliance with State regulations for State fund workers compensation plans.

  • Claims administration support, including tracking of open claims and assistance in driving claims to resolution.

  • Assist with development and maintenance of Risk Management intranet site to support enhanced visibility and communication to internal stakeholders.

  • Reconcile premium invoices against bound policies, process invoices and maintain payment tracking.

  • Create and maintain SOP’s for job duties, identify process improvement opportunities, and assist in creation of documents to be used for cross-functional process alignment or insurance coverage awareness.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Risk Management, or equivalent field of study

  • Minimum 3 – 5 years in corporate risk management

  • Experience and conceptual understanding of corporate insurance (brokerage, claim, or other corporate insurance experience)

  • Team player who is able to work with global and cross-functional teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively at all levels across the organization and with external business partners.

  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to build relationships across functions.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Strong planning & organizational skills.

  • Strong skills in Excel and PowerPoint.

Preferred:

  • Master's, MBA, or JD

  • Semiconductor or manufacturing Industry experience

  • Risk management certifications or training

Expected Salary Range

$74,500.00 - $140,800.00

The exact Salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience and location.
