JOB DESCRIPTIONTitle: Security Engineer IIILocation: India

The Security Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure systems and networks. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, network engineering, and cybersecurity, to ensure that systems and networks are secure, compliant with applicable regulations, and protected against unauthorized access and other security risks. This position will need to identify security-related issues in a timely manner, participate in monitoring and process changes to prevent reoccurrence.

ACCOUNTABILITIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Supporting a vulnerability management program, ensuring assets are scanned, and working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to review results and prioritize remediation of findings.

• Management of platforms for endpoint security, ensuring the platforms are kept up to date, including anti-malware, secure web browsing, and vulnerability assessment capabilities.

• Experience with Security Information Event Management and Configurations

• Perform reviews and audits of internal processes collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

• Incident Response – In response to a security event assist with gathering data and participate in identifying indicators of compromise with the goal of identifying the root cause.

• Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to test and tune application security tools such as web application firewalls and anti-malware services.

• Monitoring dashboards and responding to alerts.

• Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills. Including the ability to communicate with people at all levels.

• Willing to work in the Central Time zone.

SKILLS & CERTIFICATIONS

• Passion for information security.

• Strong business acumen including written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong interpersonal and organization skills.

• Experience with Vulnerability Management technologies.

• Experience with Security Information Event Management technologies.

• Experience with Linux, Windows.

• Experience with Endpoint and Network Detection Response technologies.

• Experience with Cloud Security configuration best practices.

REQUIREMENTS

• 4+ years System security experience required. For internal candidates, experience can be a combination of internal and external experience.
