Job Description
This position is part of the UK Payroll&Benefits team, responsible for supporting several European countries and businesses within GE. Partnering with the US based GE Shares Team, with an external vendor and country payroll providers manages GE’s shares schemes. This is a fix-term position for 6-7 months (June - Decemeber 2024).
Responsibilities
Perform all assigned processes in an accurate and timely manner
Ensure that high standards of accuracy and quality are maintained with appropriate controls in
Take accountability for compliance with relevant legislation and GE Policies
Act as central contact point for issues arising in processes liaising with finance, vendors and operations to resolve
Provide ad-hoc operational support for assigned processes
Consistently follow defined HR processes and propose simplification opportunities on an ongoing basis
Prepare reports and associated statistics
Deliver on commitments, manage expectations & keep customers informed on progress – taking clear accountability and ownership
Participate in internal & external payroll & benefits audits
Actively seek customer feedback & use it to improve service offering
Skills & Experience
Fluency in English, professional verbal & written communication skills
Solid analytical skills including the ability to identify trends and implement process improvements
Demonstrated organizational skills, high standard of accuracy, attention to details
Effective interpersonal skills; proven ability to develop and maintain team and client relationships
Proficient IT skills including Excel, Word and Outlook
Comfortable delivering against quantitative and qualitative performance metrics
Ability to work to pre-determined deadlines
Ability to anticipate and resolve challenges
Confidentiality & controllership mindset
