Description

Responsibilities:

• Conduct data visualization and data integration tasks

• Manage ETL processes, data modeling, data warehousing, and data governance

• Lead projects and collaborate with outside vendors

• Show hands-on experience with tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or comparable tools

• Demonstrate proficiency in programming languages such as Python or SQL

• Implement data quality checks and validation processes

• Utilize PostgreSQL in the execution of tasks.

Requirements

• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is necessary.

• The candidate must have a strong understanding of database structures, theories, principles, and practices.

• Prior experience in data engineering or a similar role in the IT Services industry is desirable.

• Familiarity with data modeling tools and techniques is essential.

• The candidate should possess strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary for this role.

• The ability to work in a team and coordinate with other departments is required.

• Experience in project management and meeting deadlines is a must.

• Knowledge of data warehousing and ETL tools will be an added advantage.

• The candidate should be able to maintain confidentiality and adhere to data security standards.

• A willingness to continuously learn and stay updated with industry trends and advancements is necessary.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies would be beneficial.

• The candidate should demonstrate a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in their work.

• Prior experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure is desirable.
