Dubai Holding MJRF_Emiratization Support.Assistant Manager - Human Capital in Dubai, United Arab Emirates

  • To manage the implementation, administrative requirements and of the Emiratisation Team.

  • To provide a central and valuable point of consistent contact and support to SBU/SSU’s to ensure Emiratisation initiatives and compliance are of highest priority.

  • To actively contribute to the successful achievement of the Emiratisation recruitment strategy across Dubai and the UAE to ensure we increase the quantity of quality of UAE nationals joining our development programs in the business.

  • Raise the profile and brand awareness of Jumeirah as an employer for UAE Nationals across the country.

  • Support the company Emiratisation strategy and team.

  • To manage engagement throughout the year

  • To carry out any other reasonable duties as required by Management.

Administration:

  • Ensure effective implementation and administration of companywide policies, procedures, and practices in accordance with stated Company objectives and UAE legislation requirements.

  • Weekly activity report and update on progress made to support the

  • Emiratisation project in the related area.

  • Closely monitor stakeholder feedback, communicate all feedback results, and make recommendations for improvement.

  • Monitor the expenditure associated with Emiratisation.

  • Assist in benchmarking data on related subjects across companies to ensure we have best practice in place.

  • Oversee the UAEN work placement program and work with different internal and external parties including L&D, HR, and local universities and colleges to create brand awareness amongst UAEN students in universities and allow them to experience working in the hotel industry during summer and for their internship.

Development:

  • Develop UAEN colleagues and ensure they are meeting training targets and objectives.

  • Oversee the coaching, mentoring, and supporting of UAEN graduates’ trainees to ensure their training programs are being implemented and to assist in the production of Individual Development Plans and maintain effective relationships.

Recruitment:

  • Liaise and coordinate with SBU/SSU HR teams to ensure there is a clear workforce plan agreed for the hiring of UAE Nationals in the Jumeirah Hospitality Program

  • Track and maintain a register of all CV’s referred directly from colleagues, management and SBU’s/SSU’s making sure these are loaded and managed and appropriate action is taken and referral. are updated on progress.

  • Effectively assist with the management of development programs’ vacancies and manage relationships with the recruitment supplier and SBU’s/SSU’s.

  • Monthly feedback report on status of the UAE national Recruitment

  • Support and co-ordinate the full recruitment lifecycle for all UAE National Programs and direct hires’ to make sure that all policies and processes have been followed to expected standards and set policies.

  • Maintain, update and actively Jumeirah Talent Bank for UAE Nationals Programs and direct hires to ensure we have a well-organized and strong pipeline of internal talent for future department roles across the business to support future growth and strategic initiatives.

  • Support recruitment open days when needed.

Marketing & Communications:

  • Establish and maintain relationships with universities, colleges and learning institutions to promote and raise awareness of Jumeirah as an Employer of Choice and drive relationships to identify future talent.

  • Oversee all internal engagement activities and work closely with Internal Communications to raise the profile of the department.

  • Manage Emiratisation external marketing collaterals including department video, banners, and brochures to effectively create brand awareness amongst UAEN.
