Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or equivalent practical experience.

• Candidates will typically have 6 years of experience in data analytics, warehousing, ETL development, data science, or other Big Data applications.

• Typically 6 years of experience in designing and maintaining cloud project infrastructure (e.g., Google Cloud Platform, (GCP).

• Typically 5 years of experience in technical project management, stakeholder management, professional services, solution engineering or technical consulting, and 1 year of experience in technical leadership.

• Typically 1 year of experience in technical troubleshooting and writing code in one or more programming languages.

Preferred qualifications:

• Candidates will typically have 5 years of experience in technical consulting or project/program management in corporate IT, professional IT services, or product development.

• Experience implementing and managing API solutions within Google Cloud environment.

• Experience with Shopping Ads, Merchant Center data or Merchant Center Content API.

• Experience with Google Ads API.

Google Shopping Solutions (GSS) Go-to-Market (GTM), handles all aspects of strategy and operations, building the necessary infrastructure to support a sales team. Collaborating with Shopping Engineering, Legal, and Finance, to ensure that clients are provided with the best possible technical solutions. As a part of the GSS GTM means to work both operationally and strategically - owning projects end-to-end and focus on implementation.

In this role, you will provide our business partner with scalable infrastructure that powers all business aspects from day-to-day customer-facing interactions, to portfolio management, strategy building, and KPI reporting. You will extend our infrastructure by adding Google Cloud, BQ and Ads, and Content API as platforms with focus on Google Ads and Merchant Center data.

As Technical Solutions Consultant, you connect the dots across multiple functions and manage end-to-end development (e.g., setting up Google Cloud Platform projects, creating BQ tables, writing SQL, and updating leadership).

• Design, build, and maintain a Google Cloud-based data infrastructure and data pipelines based on Google internal data systems.

• Utilize existing APIs, with a focus on exposing them to a dedicated user group, ensuring tailored access and user-specific functionalities. Implement and manage API solutions within Google Cloud environment.

• Collaborate within GSS GTM to embed the cloud-based granular ads and merchant center data into our strategy and operations processes, and with Shopping and Cloud Engineering teams to define product requirements for Cloud products that cater to Comparison Shopping Service use cases.

• Establish a trusted relationship with GSS own Customer Analytics Team in order to guide the development of client-facing tools/resources based on Google Ads and Merchant Center data.

• Liaise with Compliance and Legal teams to ensure compliance of data operations.
