Aggreko Lead CAD Engineer in Dumbarton, United States

We’re looking for Lead CAD Engineer based out of our Lomondgate (Dumbarton) facility as part of our Engineering team responsible for new product development and supporting our existing portfolio of products in the Aggreko business.

    What you’ll do:

  • Lead the 3D design and drafting team in the production of detailed 3D Models and 2D engineering drawings.

  • Develop and maintain drafting standards and procedures to ensure quality and consistency of models/ drawings.

  • Review and approve drawings and designs produced by the team to ensure accuracy and compliance with Aggreko and industry standards.

  • Take ownership and maintain the 3D CAD (CREO) software, resolution of issues and PDM integration.

  • Work alongside Lead Engineers to ensure the prioritisation of workload and manage delegation of tasks to team members.

  • Build relationships with 3rd party resource providers to allow flexibility in resource capacity.

  • Support System and Subsystem design reviews.

    You’ll have the following skills and experience:

  • Proven experience in CAD design and drafting.

  • Proficiency in 3D modelling software packages and document management systems.

  • Strong leadership and communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
