The NAS team is unique within American Express. We work across almost every American Express business unit as well as external partners, providers, and key industry customers. Reporting to Senior Manager of Unified Experience the Associate, Digital Solution Design will partner with a diverse spectrum of stakeholders with the underlying goal of creating seamless customer experiences across the Global Merchant and Network Services (GMNS) organization.

The Associate, Digital Solution Design will help organize & drive objectives within a GMNS program that is designed to modernize the customer digital experience. The Associate, Digital Solution Design will play key role through; leading customer pilots of new applications, leveraging prototyping tools to engage stakeholders, analyzing customer journey analytics to improve experiences, and driving internal/external adoption of digital solutions.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Proficiency analyzing data and presenting valuable insights from large and complex datasets in a concise and compelling manner for diverse audiences (including senior leaders).

  • Technical competence and comfort using tools like Adobe Analytics and Salesforce.com to extract data and create insights.

  • Ability to build and implement internal/internal customer surveys using Qualtrics (or similar tool). Generate actionable insights.

  • Comfortable providing basic training with stakeholders or partners on new process or changes to existing applications.

  • Team-oriented with positive relationship management and interpersonal skills, confident in leading projects and excellent process management ability.

  • Advanced Power Point skills, including creating charts and graphs, strong attention to detail and organisational and communication skills required.

  • Creative and innovative thinker, intellectually curious with the ability to challenge the status quo.

  • Comfortable working with agility and at pace, finding a way around obstacles and challenges effectively and with a positive attitude.

Desired Skills

  • Proven experience of digital product development experience and related educational background and certifications preferred

  • Experience working in an Agile SAFe tech delivery environment, using tools such as Rally to define capabilities/features

  • Comfortable using tools such as Adobe Analytics, Figma, Salesforce.com a plus

  • Technical ability to promote UI/UX using design language (ex. American Express DLS)
