Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a meticulous Credit Clerk to be a part of our team in the manufacturing industry, based in EASTON, Pennsylvania. The role involves processing customer credit applications, maintaining accurate customer credit records, and resolving customer credit inquiries. You will be tasked with monitoring customer credit accounts and taking appropriate action to collect delinquent payments.

Responsibilities:

• Process customer credit applications in a timely and accurate manner

• Maintain and update customer credit records regularly

• Resolve customer credit inquiries promptly and professionally

• Monitor customer credit accounts for any irregularities

• Take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments

• Coordinate the month-end close process and the preparation of financial statements

• Prepare invoices for prior day’s shipments and credit invoices as required

• Process and supervise the payment of vendors, reconciling related accounts

• Electronically review and manage daily activity in bank and loan accounts, reconciling to company records

• Post cash receipts and review credit requests

• Manage general accounting functions such as account reconciliations, fixed assets, inventory and other month-end close support

• Prepare Monthly Sales Tax Return and Use Tax on Sales

• Process Returned Material Authorizations (RMAs)

• Prepare financial reports for operational review and decision making

• Continuously look for opportunities for improvement and automation

• Provide budget vs. actual explanations as required

• Manage and support accounting staff Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning

• Experience with ERP Solutions

• Ability to handle all Accounting Functions

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Knowledge of auditing practices and procedures

• Experience with budget processes

• Ability to manage month-end close processes
