This is a 1st shift Mechanical Assembler position right here in Fond du Lac on 1st shift. You will be responsible for following work orders and blueprints to assemble a variety of large airport equipment, such as de-icers, runway snowplows and brooms. Skilled Cabinet Builder Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Set up the assembly job by locating parts and gathering materials according to the work order. - Layout and position wire harnesses, subassemblies, and hoses according to prints. - Align, position, and assemble components using hand tools, including impacts and torque tools. - Installs moving parts such as engines, clutches, pumps, hoses, and bearings. - Drills, taps, or reams holes as necessary. - Fabricate and weld parts using MIG wire, as needed. - Paint small parts with touch-ups as necessary. - Test the portable hydraulic units and plumb it to the unit. - Use overhead cranes and jib cranes to maneuver and assemble large assemblies. - Test the unit as needed with hydraulic pressure gauges, checking for pressure and leaks. - Performs and documents pre/post inspections. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Skilled Cabinet Builder Requirements: - Requires a minimum of two years of experience in heavy truck/construction equipment installations, repair and maintenance, or any combination of education, training and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position. - High school diploma or GED preferred with previous heavy assembly experience, preferably in a manufacturing production. ***** APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: Apply In Person: 376 N.
