Defense Commissary Agency VISUAL INFORMATION SPECIALIST in Fort Gregg-Adams, Virginia

Summary This position is located in the Headquarters (HQ), Defense Commissary Agency ( DeCA), Sales, Marketing, and Logistics Group, Marketing Directorate, Marketing Division. Serves as a Visual Information Specialist and expert designer with responsibilities for developing concepts and designing graphics and multimedia products for marketing and branding initiatives: to include coordinating the activities of visual information specialist and web information specialists. Responsibilities Develops, distributes and leads visual media information in support of the Agency's brand marketing and business initiatives delivered through social media Outlets. Establish visual marketing standards, publishing schedules, and priorities by coordinating with marketing mass communication specialist to redirect visual development based on program performance metrics. Designs and establishes internal controls necessary to manage this program and all the support functions, including interfacing with audiovisual specialists, business analysts, promotions and information technology technical points of contact. Provide guidance to industry trade vendors to advise industry of requirements to share content for the Agency's Marketing Assets. Leads and monitors visual information program activities and resources, including the sales circular, to mitigate risk. Manage and facilitate program objectives for the multimedia library and other collaboration projects that reside on the Division's virtual work environment. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications You must meet the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) qualifications for series 1084 and additional requirements by the announcement closing date. Examples of qualifying experience include: Manages milestones, deadlines and scheduling for multiple simultaneous projects. Mastery of principles, methods, practices and techniques for creating professional state-of-the-art visual presentations. Independently manages, plans, designs, develops launch strategy to drive increased market reach and carries out visual arts projects.
