Description We are looking for a Credit Clerk to join our team in Fredericksburg, Virginia. This role is centered around maintaining and processing customer credit applications, keeping accurate records, and handling customer inquiries. It will also involve monitoring customer credit accounts and taking appropriate actions to collect overdue payments.

Responsibilities:

• Process and manage customer credit applications to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

• Maintain and update customer credit records on a regular basis.

• Resolve customer inquiries related to credit in a timely and professional manner.

• Monitor customer credit accounts for any irregularities or overdue payments.

• Take action to collect delinquent payments as necessary.

• Assist with individual tax returns, training will be provided if needed.

• Handle billing functions using the Ignition system.

• Conduct bank reconciliations and maintain accounts payable and receivable.

• Manage payroll for over 70 clients, primarily using QuickBooks Pro and Online.

• Proficiently use various accounting software systems and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Outlook. Requirements

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites

• Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook

• Solid understanding of Accounting Functions

• Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP)

• Understanding of Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Ability to perform Bank Reconciliations

• Experience in Billing Functions

• Proficiency in QuickBooks

• Experience with Quickbooks Online
