Robert Half is hiring! We are offering an opportunity for a Programmer Analyst in the Upstate of South Carolina. This role primarily focuses on application development, maintenance programming, and other duties as specified by the supervisor. Apply today!

Responsibilities:

• Serve in any Programmer/Analyst capacity as directed by the supervisor

• Carry out analysis, design, coding, testing, and implementation of applications

• Engage in training and documentation of developed applications

• Undertake maintenance programming, which includes analysis, coding, and enhancing or correcting bugs in existing code

• Work on the AS400 system and SQL databases

• Utilize RPG and Synon skills in the execution of duties

• Communicate complex ideas effectively to both technical and non-technical staff and Department Heads

• Ensure detail-oriented work and maintain strong analytical skills in all operations.

Requirements • Must hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Proven experience as a Programmer Analyst or similar role is necessary.

• Proficiency in RPG and Synon is required.

• Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server is a must.

• Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent understanding of coding and data structure principles.

• Ability to communicate complex data in a simple, actionable way.

• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
