Role: Talent & Development Lead

Location: Manchester – Hybrid Working (2 days per week in the office)

Role Purpose

In the role of Talent & Development Lead you will support and implement Learning and development programmes for the UK team, act as key user and authority on Bureau Veritas e-learning system (Cornerstone) and maximise usage of this and ensure that we deliver a holistic programme of development that meets UK learning needs (for all levels in the business) from Management to Development to Functional knowledge management and sharing of best practice.

You will proactively partner with the HR Business Partners & Senior Leaders to implement the strategic and tactical develop needs – with the focus to discover and retain our talent. Key requirements of the role include: -

  • Ability to build effective relationships with all levels of management

  • Influencing skills with the ability to constructively challenge

  • Strong organisational, time and project management skills

  • Ability to identify opportunities for improvement, develop strategies, and implement solutions

You will need the ability to work autonomously and make your own decisions, but ensure all key stakeholders receive regular progress updates for a successful delivery against objectives.

  • Demonstrable experience of implementing new L&D initiatives within an organisation, with positive results
