TEKsystems Deskside Support Technician in Greensboro, North Carolina

Description:

Our Client is looking for a desk side support technician in Greensboro, NC to do the following responsibilities: handling computer re-imaging, software installations, password resets, installation of printers, providing hands-on support for backend teams, and assisting with network or platform issues under the guidance of a network or platform engineer. The ideal candidate should have at least two to three years of experience in a similar role, with a strong technical skill set and excellent interpersonal skills. The position is contract-to-hire for a duration of six months, with the possibility of extension or conversion based on performance.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Prior experience in desktop support or related field

In-depth knowledge of desktop hardware and software systems

Basic understanding of Active Directory and how user and computer accounts authenticate

Familiarity with conference room equipment and supporting large meeting rooms

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Proficient in Windows computer operating systems

Exceptional time-management and multitasking abilities

Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills

Intermediate Level
