DESCRIPTION OF WORK Under the general direction of the Business Analyst 4, this position reflects the duties responsible of an Information Technology Generalist 2 for the Pennsylvania Municipal Retirement System (PMRS). This position is responsible for the Agency's computing infrastructure and associated operating environments, systems support, analysis of business needs, database queries and report generation in support of PMRS' business users and associated applications.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch. Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time up to 2 days a week (anticipated), while working in-office 3 days a week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year as an Information Technology Generalist 1, Applications Developer 1, or Network Specialist 1; or Four years of information technology experience that includes one year of technical information technology experience in applications development or applications maintenance, network operation or network maintenance, web site development or web site design, or other information technology support/administration services; or Two years of information technology experience that includes one year of technical information technology experience in applications development or applications maintenance, network operation or network maintenance, web site development or web site design, or other information technology support/administration services, and an associate's degree in any information technology field; or A bachelor's degree in any information technology field; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.
