Erickson Living Utility Team Lead in Hingham, Massachusetts

Linden Ponds is a beautiful 108-acre continuing care retirement community located just 24 miles from Boston on the South Shore in Hingham, Massachusetts. We are hiring for a Housekeeping Team Lead to support our gated retirement community. All of our clients live within our community, so there is no travel involved!

How you will make an impact:

  • Providing leadership, direction, and support to the Housekeepers under the guidance of the Housekeeping Supervisor and Housekeeping Manager

  • Maintaining the cleanliness and safety of assigned areas.

  • Completing assigned work orders and following a detailed schedule

  • May be asked to assist with set-ups, requiring movement of furniture.

  • Scheduling and supervising daily work assignments

  • Training, mentoring and coaching new employees.

Compensation: commensurate with experience starting at $20 hourly

What you will need:

  • One to three years experience in Housekeeping

  • Previous experience in a leadership role (preferred) must have excellent; customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as a contributing team member

  • Ability to use and operate all required equipment

  • Ability to demonstrate professional and responsive interactions with residents and their family members, staff, vendors, and each other

  • Strong knowledge of Housekeeping operations.

  • Ability to lead and motivate a team
