Growing public accounting firm hiring a top-notch Director of Technical Accounting to join their team!

 Provide technical support and guidance to the firm's accounting and auditing teams on complex accounting and auditing issues

 Conduct research on emerging accounting and auditing issues, and prepare technical memos and white papers to provide guidance to the firm's clients

 Develop and maintain the firm's accounting and auditing policies and procedures, and ensure that they are in compliance with current accounting standards and regulations

 Stay current with emerging accounting and auditing issues and trends, and provide training and education to the firm's staff and clients as necessary

 Collaborate with the firm's marketing and business development teams to develop thought leadership content, such as articles, webinars, and presentations, on accounting and auditing topics

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting and CPA are required combined with 10+ years of experience in public accounting with a focus on technical accounting and auditing matters.

• Big Four senior manager experience is strongly preferred.

• Strong technical knowledge of accounting and auditing standards and regulations, including GAAP, GAAS, and PCAOB.

• Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
