Must be comfortable on heights. Willing to obtain basic hand tools. This is a full-time position with a lot of growth opportunities. We install access control, network cables, speaker and paging systems, and security camera equipment. During the first 6-12 months you will be mainly pulling cables, installing devices, and providing support for your lead technician.

JOB DESCRIPTION**

• Learn Installation of cabling in new construction and remodel projects in existing buildings
• Learn Cable Terminations and repair- RJ45, Coax, 110 punch-down and fiber connectors.
• Rough in various types of cable above ceiling or raised floor.
• Set up cable reels or boxes in preparation for installation.
• Install cables in pathways and work areas.
• Insall cable inside a wall and/ or thru modular furniture
• Install cut outs, install faceplates, and terminate jack.
• Learn MDF / IDF Room Build outs. (Equipment racks, ladder rack, grounding, etc.)
• Installation of cabling pathways (J-Hooks, conduits, etc.).
• Good communication skills for effective interaction with internal and external customers
• Adapt to fast-paced installation environments of cabling and devices.
• Must work well with little supervision individually and in a team setting.
• Ability to lift/move equipment and tools weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Perform work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as climbing ladders, and high lift equipment up to 40 feet, working in crawl spaces, above ceilings, etc.
• Must have a valid drivers license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation.
• Must pass drug-screen and background check.
