The Program Manager designs, implements and administers the talent acquisition D&I, Veterans and Employee Referral Network programs to attract elite talent into Schwab by building Schwab’s employment brand in the US job market and promoting Schwab as an employer of choice.
What you’ll do:
Manage and implement strategic projects and programs such as D&I, Military Recruiting, and Employee Referrals.
Proactively seek ways to increase efficiency and optimize programs.
Measure the effectiveness of programs.
Work with and manage relationships within Schwab, including with Corporate Diversity Team, Employee Resource Groups, Human Resources, Compliance, Vendor Management, etc.
Deliver project and operational updates to the Talent Acquisition team.
Actively partner with the Talent Advisors, Sourcing Advisors & Centralized Admin/Process/Technology teams to evolve programs and formulate strategies to network and build relationships with prospective candidates.
Collaborate with managers to develop the multi-year roadmap for each program and executes on the strategy.
Develop and maintain project plans for each program to ensure all tasks are on track along with dependencies and communication plan with all stakeholders.
Keep apprised of best practices and recommend new ways to continuously evolve programs to ensure competitive approach.
Keep apprised of Schwab’s business direction & industry trends.
What you have:
Minimum of 5 years’ experience within a recruitment or human resources organization is required
Minimum of 3 years’ experience leading a talent acquisition diversity & inclusion program required
Prior experience recruiting in financial services or other regulated industry required
BA/BS degree in Human Resources or related field is strongly preferred or relevant experience
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:
Strong business acumen
Knowledge of US employment law and corporate recruitment practices
Advanced level proficiency with Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Excellent project management skills with superior organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Skills in influencing and persuasion
Ability to influence, gain creditability, and build strong relationships with key stakeholders at all levels of the organization
