What you’ll do:

A Specialist within AMO Clearing Services performs functions related to Broker / Dealer Mutual Fund Operations transfer processing. The environment is fast paced, technical and requires strong customer service skills.

The successful Clearing Operations Specialist demonstrates the following:

  • Maintains excellent working relationship with the Clearing Clients, their peers, internal business partners, and counterparties within the Industry.

  • Effectively handles client issues and always put the client first, while demonstrating technical proficiency

  • Meet multiple deadlines throughout the day is a high priority

  • Uses multiple systems within the department

What you have:

Required Skills:

  • Ability to be an active member of and role model within a Team

  • Proven experience collaborating across business units

  • Ability to improve productivity through suggestion of implementation of process improvements and/or system enhancements

  • Previous experience supporting clients with sound customer service skills and judgement

Preferred Skills:

  • 1-2 years of back office/operations financial industry experience is preferred

  • Series 7 & 63 is preferred

  • BA or BS preferred
