Our Opportunity:

This role will be responsible for designing and building the CSIM technology platform to support the operations, finance, performance, and policies / controls teams with a focus on improving the software quality, platform and technology service provided to the CSIM business.

The individual will be playing a pivotal role in the design, development and integration with investment management solutions and SaaS applications. Key part of the job will involve software and solutions design, integration with CMS and SaaS Cloud-based systems and data warehouse as well as building CSIM's digital strategy solutions .The job will also involve building and leveraging APIS to interfaces to third party systems and SaaS solutions, deploying applications on Cloud Foundry. The candidate will be designing and building proprietary applications where a competitive advantage can be gained and integrating and managing industry leading vendor software to provide a cohesive, flexible platform which can scale effectively for future business growth.

What you’ll do:

  • A university degree from a well-respected academic institution; advanced degrees in Information management, Computer Science, and/or other professional certifications are a plus

  • At least 5 years’ experience integrating 3rd party internal and external applications developed in C# or Java

  • At least 5 years’ experience building scalable APIs and web services ( REST/SOAP), SOA architecture and integrations technologies, experience with JSON, XML, XSD

  • Prior experience designing and architecting using cloud solutions, Azure, AWS, Salesforce, Cloud Foundry, etc.

  • Experience designing, architecting and building distributed and scalable enterprise-grade software applications and integrations

  • Experience with Drupal, other CMS systems and digital technologies

  • Experience with Microsoft technology stack, .NET, SQL, Windows 2012, SharePoint, IIS, working knowledge of SSO technologies, policy management, etc.

  • Experience working and designing large software systems, particularly distributed systems and architectures, knowledge of integration design patterns

  • Experience with message queuing technologies like RabbitMQ, IBM MQ, message brokers and ESB (enterprise service bus) such as Mule

  • Prior financial services experience is a plus

  • Working knowledge of Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment and DevOps is a plus

  • Experience with Pivotal Cloud Foundry or container based technologies is a plus
