Our Opportunity:

This is a junior to mid level position responsible for maintaining the computer systems, server management including installing, maintaining and upgrading the servers. Will ensure the servers are backed up, and that the server data is secure from unauthorized access. May also produce and create reports, charts, manuals proposals and perform light programming (scripting). Must be able to plan, coordinate and implement software version changes and use utility tools to monitor elements of the system, such as memory, central processing unit (CPU) and program errors generated from a system or software problem. Must also have knowledge in systems design and configuration. Strong verbal and written communication skills is required.

What you’ll do:

Responsibilities Include (but not limited to):

  • Liaise with development teams and infrastructure teams to set up environments to deploy application in pre-production and production environment as per the requirements

  • Responsible for defining and implementing user access management as per the requirements

  • Liaise with development teams, DBAs and Infrastructure teams to troubleshoot and resolved production issues in timely manner

  • Manage and Execute software and hardware currency projects

  • Develop and maintain good relationships with business partners and senior technology leaders

  • Work closely with 3rd party vendors /service providers on all touch points including upgrading applications and production support issues

  • Carry out code deployment and present software release plans to the appropriate technology governance bodies

  • Oversee and perform change management activities

  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and work closely with relevant teams to architect solutions for long term scalability of the production environment

  • Support disaster recovery test planning and execution

  • Review and update knowledge base and technical support documentation to reflect current technical information on applications

What you have:

  • A university degree from a well-respected academic institution; advanced degrees in Information management, Computer Science, and/or other professional certifications are a plus 

  • At least 3 years experience integrating 3rd party internal and external applications

  • At least 3 years Experience supporting Microsoft technology stack, .NET, SQL, Windows 2012, SharePoint, IIS, etc.

  • Working knowledge of Active Directory and related capabilities, including integrating with SSO technologies, policy management, etc

  • Good understanding of business applications processes and criticality, ability to logically de-componentize applications and system platforms in troubleshooting / diagnostic situations

  • Working knowledge and direct support of environmental systems components, including networking, virtualization technologies, enterprise level infrastructure management, web services, queuing mechanisms; mobile integration

  • An inductive reasoning aptitude, fast learner / big picture approach, ability to isolate functional system components and ‘connect the dots’ quickly for expeditious problem resolutions

  • Skilled communicator with excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal skills, capable to articulate technical items in business terms

  • Inquisitive, analytical, a strategic thinker, proactive and solutions-oriented High-energy, positive, entrepreneurial in spirit while goal-oriented and results-driven

  • Self-starter; takes initiative and can work independently Well-organized and disciplined with high attention to detail
