We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our team. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity for candidates with a degree in accounting or related field to gain valuable experience in accounting practices and procedures. The Junior Accountant will support senior members of the accounting team in various financial activities, including record keeping, reconciliation, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Record Maintenance: Assist in maintaining accurate financial records by recording transactions, updating ledgers, and reconciling accounts. Ensure data integrity and completeness in accordance with established procedures.

• Accounts Payable and Receivable: Support accounts payable and receivable processes by processing invoices, verifying expenses, and issuing payments to vendors. Assist in generating customer invoices, tracking receivables, and following up on overdue accounts.

• Bank Reconciliation: Assist in reconciling bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial accounts to identify discrepancies and ensure accuracy. Help investigate and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.

• Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Provide support in analyzing financial data and preparing variance analysis reports as needed.

• Compliance and Documentation: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and company policies. Maintain organized and up-to-date financial documentation for audits and reviews.

• Assistance to Senior Accountants: Collaborate with senior members of the accounting team to support various financial activities and projects. Learn from experienced professionals and contribute to team goals.

• Professional Development: Stay updated on accounting principles, regulations, and industry trends through training and self-study. Take initiative in expanding knowledge and skills to enhance job performance.

  Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• Strong academic background with coursework in accounting principles and practices.

• Basic understanding of accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
