Robert Half Project Coordinator in Lowell, Michigan

Description We are seeking a Project Assistant to join our team in LOWELL, Michigan. In this role, you will perform various office tasks to support our projects, including coordinating project numbers, assisting field employees, and managing paperwork for new subcontractors and vendors. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Submitting purchase orders from clients to the corporate office and obtaining project numbers.

• Assisting employees working in the field by helping them submit their time to the corporate office, maintaining their inspection reports, managing their schedules, and ensuring their training is up to date.

• Coordinating paperwork submissions for new subcontractors and vendors.

• Providing general office support and managing any additional responsibilities as needed.

• Utilizing Office 365 including MS Word, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, and MS Excel to perform tasks.

• Displaying strong initiative, excellent communication skills, and attention to detail.

• Coordinating meetings and training sessions.

• Completing documentation and paperwork.

• Answering inbound calls and coordinating appointments.

• Ensuring compliance functions and corporate initiatives. Requirements • Strong understanding and experience with project management methodologies.

• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Excel, MS Outlook, and MS PowerPoint.

• Excellent administrative and basic office skills, including the ability to handle inbound calls and coordinate appointments.

• Capability to complete documentation and paperwork accurately and promptly.

• Experience with compliance functions and an understanding of corporate initiatives.

• Proficiency in using a computer keyboard and word processing tools.

• Ability to conduct meetings and training sessions effectively.

• Experience in coordinating schedules and confirming appointments.

• Must be skilled in coordinating special projects.

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and manage time effectively.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in all work.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong organizational and planning skills.

• Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

• Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure.

• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of staff and management.
