In this highly visible role, you will develop, execute strategies, and lead a team to support Alliant Energy\'s philosophy regarding benefits programs and deliver services that enable business success. You\'ll ensure we are in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and standard operating procedures regarding all benefits offerings. By actively participating in these initiatives, you will contribute to shaping our organization\'s rewards strategy, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and regulatory standards. Our ideal candidate has experience with benefits administration, strategy and design, vendor management and compliance. A strong process improvement mindset along with the ability to analyze data to drive business decisions is also strongly preferred. This is a hybrid-remote position reporting to the Cedar Rapids, IA or Madison, WI office. Candidates must reside in Iowa or Wisconsin. What you will do * Performs all leadership duties including, but not limited to, hiring and rewarding talent, fostering an inclusive and safe workplace, partnering with employees to set clear goals and expectations, providing timely and specific feedback on performance, developing improvement plans to address performance gaps, addressing conflict with care and respect, identifying opportunities for growth and development, embracing and modeling a mindset of lifelong learning, ensuring employees report to work fit for duty, adhering to our Code of Conduct and modeling Alliant Energy\'s Core Values at all times. * Designs, implements, and administers benefit programs - e.g., pension plans, life, health and disability insurance, voluntary benefits, post-retirement welfare and well-being that are cost-effective and provide excellent competitive positioning.
