Robert Half Business Systems Analyst in Memphis, Tennessee

Description

Are you a bridge between the business world and technology?

We're looking for a talented Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to join our client's team and play a critical role in streamlining our operations and maximizing efficiency! In this role, you'll act as a translator, understanding business needs and translating them into actionable IT solutions.

Responsibilities:

Business Process Analysis:

  • Analyze current business processes to identify areas for improvement and opportunities for automation.

  • Gather requirements from stakeholders across different departments.

  • Document and flowchart existing business processes.

Systems Design and Implementation:

  • Work with IT teams to design and implement new systems or recommend modifications to existing ones.

  • Develop functional specifications and user stories to outline system requirements.

  • Participate in system testing and ensure the new system meets business needs.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Analyze business data to identify trends and insights relevant to process improvement.

  • Develop reports and dashboards to communicate complex data to non-technical audiences.

Communication and Collaboration:

  • Collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, IT professionals, and end-users.

  • Clearly communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

  • Document business needs, system requirements, and project progress.

    Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 2-4 years of experience in a Business Systems Analyst role or similar function.

  • Strong understanding of business analysis methodologies (e.g., SDLC, BPMN).

  • Experience with data analysis tools and techniques.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
