Job Title: Pallet Sorter

Location: Nanticoke, PA

Pay Range: $18.00 per hour

Job Responsibilities:

1. Sorting Wooden Pallets:

2. The Pallet Sorter will manually sort wooden pallets.

3. They will separate damaged pallets from usable ones.

4. The ability to identify different pallet grades and segregate them is essential.

5. Safety and Quality:

6. Adhere to safety rules and regulations.

7. Wear mandatory steel-toed footwear.

8. Perform quality checks on sorted pallets.

9. Physical Requirements:

10. Lift, push, and pull wooden pallets regularly (up to 85 pounds).

11. Demonstrate quick hands, attention to detail, and commitment to quality.

12. Maintain balance and good eye-hand-foot coordination.

13. Stand, bend, twist, and adjust body position as needed during shifts.

14. Problem-Solving and Communication:

15. Solve practical problems related to pallet sorting.

16. Interpret written, oral, diagram, or schedule instructions effectively.

17. Communicate clearly and efficiently.

18. Work Schedule:

19. Four 10-hour day shifts

20. 6 am to 4:30 pm - any given schedule between Monday to Sunday. Days of work vary.

Requirements:

1. Education and Training:

2. High school degree or GED required.

3. Demonstrated experience safely operating air-driven, electric, and manual woodworking tools.

4. Skills and Abilities:

5. Ability to work overtime when needed.

6. Excellent oral and written communication skills.

7. Adaptability to deal with concrete variables in standardized situations.
