Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s/University degree

• 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst / Project Manager in the financial industry experience.

• Must have technical background, experience working with technical teams on tech projects.

• Must have hands-on experience with SQL.

• Strong and proven experience with Capital Markets, Market Risk, Finance, and Regulatory projects.

• Experience with Markets Transformation or similar Front Office roles including familiarity with Quantitative, Market Risk, Capital, Finance, and Regulatory concepts.

• Experience leading a workstream, working with technical teams on core of a build.

• Excellent oral and written communications skills; must be articulate and persuasive with the judgement and authority to provide insightful commentary to senior stakeholders.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Masters degree.

• Strongly prefer Python experience.

• Demonstrated experience planning and delivering projects related to recovery and resolution plans

What You Will Be Doing

• Drive the timely execution of strategic Capital Markets programs and deliverables through the diligent application of program management principles and standards.

• Lead or participate in working groups, workshops and with stakeholders to understand business requirements, define project plans, and manage timelines.

• Impart subject matter expertise by providing guidance, support and constructive challenge on business initiatives to ensure alignment with program strategy.

• Ensure that all target state tools, processes and controls are socialized effectively and are approved at or by the appropriate governance forum or level.

• Manage internal and external dependencies across initiatives including working closely with Front Office, Quantitative, Finance, Market Risk, Product Owner, Controls, and Technology teams.

• Identify challenges and proactively seek to resolve or escalate risk and issues in a timely and well-articulated manner to the projects by engaging relevant stakeholders and PMs.

• Engage senior stakeholders continuously by escalating and resolving issues as they arise.

• Produce accurate and insightful project update materials and artifacts, tailoring to various forums and committees.

• Build strong relationships, adopting a joined-up approach, to support the execution of programs.
