James R. Glidewell Dental Ceramics 21665 Professional Development Coach in Newport Beach, California

Essential Functions:

  • Partners with management and stakeholders to evaluate the effectiveness of individual leadership, leadership gaps, and identify underperforming areas and individuals.
  • Defines and articulates leadership requirements at all levels (e.g. leadership framework, competencies, skills, behaviors, etc.).
  • Conducts comprehensive needs assessments of employees skills, strengths, goals, and challenges to develop customized coaching plans to address individual professional needs and goals.
  • Coaches employees on development of SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Time-bound). Assesses employee performance, reinforces positive behavior, and provides feedback on goal achievement to drive performance improvement.
  • Conductsbehavioral assessments, includingDISC assessments. Evaluates and debriefsemployees on assessments resultsto bring awareness to leadership communication stylesand improvement opportunities.
  • Facilitates coaching programs to promote and encourage adoption of a coaching leadership style. Assesses employee readiness to be coached. Matches employee with appropriate coach and assesses the impact of the engagement.
  • Tracks and analyzes the effectiveness of coaching and development programs through metrics such as employee performance improvements, engagement surveys, and feedback.
  • Conducts assessments on program metrics to effectively evaluate program effectiveness and identify program improvement opportunities.
  • Develops coaching resources including coaching methodologies, scenarios, and action plans for implementation. Updates training materials, presentations, and handouts as required.
  • Builds and manages relationships with company leadership to promote a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
  • Researches and stays abreast of the latest research and best practices on coaching models and coaching strategies.
  • Performs other related duties and projects as business needs require at direction of management.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in related field; Masters degree, preferred.
  • Minimum six (6) years of related experience required.
  • Experience with senior and mid-level management coaching required.
  • Experience in program management, project management, and team management required.
  • Experience using data to make informed decisions required.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, Zoom, and SharePoint required.

Special Requirements/Certification:

  • Coaching certification preferred.
  • DISC certification preferred.

Pay: $70-$90K
