Job Description

Since the first Employee Business Resource Group (EBRG) was chartered over 50-plus years ago, our EBRGs have grown to over 22,000 members and 300 chapters globally. This growth has enabled our ability to drive diversity, equity and inclusion (DE&I) across the company.

In 2024, one of the company’s DE&I priorities is to enable the continued evolution of our EBRGs to strengthen our culture across multiple dimensions of identities. For our company’s DEI strategy to be successful, we will be implementing a more strategic commitment and sponsorship of the EBRGs around the globe.

This new role will have the primary responsibility of strategic oversight of the Global Employee Business Resource Groups and report to the AVP, Global Diversity & Inclusion Center of Excellence. This role will enable the EBRGs to be successful in assisting the GD&I Center of Excellence to enhance the company’s diverse and inclusive culture.

This role has the following primary roles and responsibilities:

  • Lead facilitation of the monthly EBRG Executive Leadership Council meetings held between the global EBRG leaders and members of the GD&I Center of Excellence

  • Ensure the alignment of all the 10 EBRGs to the three priorities: Talent acquisition and development, Business Insights and Integration and Corporate and Social Responsibility

  • Compliant oversight of spend practices and financial stewardship of the new centralized budget and process for EBRGs globally, working with the EBRG Finance leads, HR Finance leads and Procurement

  • Facilitate the integration and partnership between the EBRG Talent leads and Learning and Development to develop annual learning strategies to drive skills and capabilities in the members.

  • Oversight of the strategic enterprise wide initiatives which benefits all of the 10 EBRGs and the operational aspects of the EBRGs globally.

  • Lead facilitation of the monthly EBRG Infrastructure and Systems Strategy Council and ensure the strategies developed by the Council are implemented to continue the evolution and growth of EBRGs globally

  • Embed solutions in the EBRG handbook on an ongoing basis; and helps to develop communications vehicles to inform EBRG leaders

  • Collaborate with Global Communications on the coordination of EBRG Communications from the GD&I Center of Excellence

  • Strategizes with DE&I Divisional and Regional Council leaders to ensure the effective and efficient partnership with EBRG leaders

Provide support to EBRGs in the following areas:

  • Event Calendar management

  • Membership Management for external benchmarking purposes

  • Support for EBRG Mentoring Programs to ensure alignment for better effectiveness and efficiency

  • Vendor Management and invoicing

  • Compliance and other areas

  • Focused and versatile team player who works well under pressure.

Required Education:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or related discipline, or currently in pursuit of degree completion, or equivalent relevant work experience.

Required Experience:

  • Minimum 6 years' experience, including employment experience in a global corporate environment. (with Masters’ degree, minimum experience is 4 years); or relevant applicable experience.

  • Minimum of 3 years serving in a leadership role within an EBRG.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience working within a Global DE&I Center of Excellence (COE)

Location:

  • Based out of either Rahway, NJ or Upper Gwynedd, PA (Hybrid working model)

U.S. Hybrid Work Model

Effective September 5, 2023, employees in office-based positions in the U.S. will be working a Hybrid work consisting of three total days on-site per week, generally Tuesday, Wednesday and either Monday or Thursday, although the specific days may vary by site or organization, with Friday designated as a remote-working day, unless business critical tasks require an on-site presence. Expected salary range:

$91,600.00 - $144,100.00
