Reference #: SEI1GLOBALR0029154EXTERNALENGLOBAL The Technical Lead works with an application development organization and relies on experience working with multi-tiered applications that are designed, developed, and delivered as financial-based solutions, including: SWIFT, XML, FIX, SNG, SNL, Linux applications; creating application services using Java to integrate with technologies such as SWIFT, SNL; deploying and configuring WebLogic applications; relational databases, such as Oracle; and repositories in SVN, GIT, and Jenkins. The Technical Lead develops and designs technical solutions based on reading and understanding business and functional requirements following the Agile process; produces high-quality code to meet all project deadlines and ensuring the functionality matches the requirements; analyzes and resolves issues found during the testing or pre-production phases of the software delivery lifecycle; coordinating changes with project team leaders and cross-work team members; provides technical leadership to project team members and responding to inquiries regarding errors or questions about programs; interacts with data architects, other tech leads, team members and project manager, as required, addressing technical and scheduling issues; suggests and implements process improvements for estimating, development, and testing processes; ensuring team designs and delivers code in alignment with published SEI & Industry standards; provides technical problem resolution and application support with SWIFT, the global secure financial messages services between more than 11,000 worldwide organizations, including financial transactions, such as payments, trades, settlement instructions, FX confirmations, statements, and reports; and provides technical problem resolution and application support with the Financial Information eXchange (FIX) trading protocol for real time trade messaging with the various stock exchanges across the global markets via broker/dealer networks.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Applied Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or related (or foreign equivalent), plus seven (7) years of experience with an application development organization. Five (5) years of experience working on multi-tiered applications that are designed, developed, and delivered as financial-based solutions, including the following: SWIFT, XML, FIX, SNG, SNL applications, LINUX; creating application services using Java to integrate with technologies such as SWIFT, SNL; and deploying and configuring WebLogic applications. Five (5) years of experience with the following: relational databases, such as Oracle; and Repositories in SVN, GIT, and Jenkins.
