Our Opportunity:

Schwab Advisor Services is the leading provider of custodial, operational and trading support for independent fee-based investment advisors. We're currently looking for dedicated individuals like you to help us provide financial advisors with access to sophisticated tools and wealth-management services. What you’ll do:

  • Provide exceptional on-going client support by handling day-to-day service requests.

  • Process client enrollment request and onboarding.

  • Assess and discuss client issues, helping them navigate Schwab’s services.

  • Be part of an environment where you would collaborate with others on a small team of Schwab professionals to resolve client inquiries and knowledge of Schwab products and services.

  • Assist with phone volumes by engaging our clients over the phone and delivering a high level of customer service.

The ideal candidate will thrive in a challenging environment where they are constantly learning. They should also be charismatic, poised, confident, and well-spoken with the desire to provide exceptional customer service. The representative’s core responsibility will be responding to calls and processing enrollments. This opportunity is suitable for someone who enjoys talking with customers and solving problems in a team oriented and supportive environment.

Hours of operation are from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Eastern Monday – Friday.

What you’ll have:

  • 3-5 Years customer service experience preferably in the brokerage/financial industry.

  • Basic knowledge of computer desktop and network environments including operating systems, peripherals and navigating through software, demonstrated through experience and/or education.

  • Proactive outlook demonstrated by taking ownership, engaging with business needs, seeking/sharing innovative solutions and displaying initiative.

  • Collaborative and relationship-focused work style with demonstrated success in a team environment.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, especially the ability to learn and explain complicated subjects, build quality long-term relationships and conduct needs-based conversations with a variety of clients.

  • Consistent customer service focus.

  • Effective verbal and written communication.

  • Identifies opportunities for business development and takes appropriate action.

Position may be filled at a grade level 54, 55 or 56
