Our Opportunity:

The Senior Security Engineer in DAM is responsible for performing DAM Administration duties on a variety of DAM platforms. These duties include software installation/upgrade and patching, configuration specifications, performance tuning, monitoring report creation, and ensuring the availability of the DAM hardware and software infrastructure. Other DAM duties may include performing tasks for DAM Auditing services such as Database Discovery, Datasource Management, Data Classification, Vulnerability Assessment, Entitlement Reporting, and create/maintain DAM system metrics, as well as maintaining database inventories.

What you’ll do:

The DAM Senior Security Engineer will work with database, application, and server teams to ensure continuous monitoring of database activity. The DAM Senior Security Engineer will maintain a very close working relationship with the Security Operations Center (SOC) team responsible for analyzing database monitoring reports. The SOC team works with database owners to help ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and other security best practices.

What you have:

  • Must have 8+ years of information technology experience with 3 years of database information, security technology, or database administration experience.+ A solid understanding of operating systems (Linux, Microsoft Windows, AIX, etc.) and expert understanding of database administration and security with SQL, Oracle, DB2, and some experience with non-relational databases such as Hadoop and Mongo is also helpful.

  • Must have experience with set-up, configuration, and troubleshooting of DAM applications like IBM Infosphere Guardium, Imperva SecureSphere, jSonar SonarG and high initiative to become a SME with the products.

  • Prior knowledge or training with IBM Infosphere Guardium, Imperva SecureSphere, jSonar SonarG, JavaScript Object Notation (JSON) and/or API Scripting is a plus.

  • Good communication and organization skills

  • Comfortable with working with various levels of management and a wide-variety of database owners,

  • Ability to appropriately escalate problem issues to software vendors for action, and

  • Availability 7 X 24 for problem resolution and production support.
