Job Description

The "Role" will report to the CISO and is a member of the cyber security leadership team. The position serves a key role in security ecosystem, close collaboration with IT operations and other community leader. The "role" will be accountable for Security Operations, Threat Intelligence, Vulnerability and Configuration Management and Security Incident Management. The "role" will lead all aspects of security operations lifecycle from alert analysis, alert triage to security incident management. The individual will also collaborate closely with industry information sharing exchanges along with other government agencies. The global SOC is a 24x7x365 function. The leader ensure that SOC is fully functional to detect and respond to cyber security threats.

Skills and Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security (or) related degree and experience

* 10+ years of experience in Cyber Security,

* SOMEONE THAT COMES FROM SMALLER COMPANIES (or majority of their experience)

* 5+ years managing a SOC and Incident response - can be someone who has come in and built it from the ground up or just been apart of the team/process.

* 5+year of experience implementing security tooling to safeguard computers, networks and data

* 3 years of experience managing risk against risk appetite experience

* Experience interacting with regulator or auditors.

* Overseeing remediation efforts by IT staff and business line owners experience

* Performing Information Security/Information Technology risk assessments experience

* Ability to manage multiple work streams simultaneously * Familiarity with regulatory controls and industry best practices such as HIPAA, PCI, CIS, HiTrust, ISO 27001, NIST etc.)

• CISSP, CISM, SABSA or other relevant certifications .

• Experience leading an offshore team. null
