HARIBO of America Customer Sales Analyst in Rosemont, Illinois

HAIRBO is growing and adding to our corporate office team. The Customer Sales Analyst will support several HARIBO customers/retailers in assigned channels including Grocery, Convenience Store, and Dollar/Alternative retail channels.  The Customer Sales Analyst will collect, analyze and report on sales data, execute administrative duties for new product set up and new retail account set up, and provide data and reports to our business development leadership teams. 

Located on-site at the HARIBO of America corporate office in Rosemont, Illinois, the Customer Sales Analyst, known internally as a Business Development Lead, is a member of our Sales and Business Development team and will provide sales analytics support for retail customers. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in sales support analytics role within the consumer packaged goods industry, a Bachelor’s Degree, strong Excel skills, and experience working with syndicated data such as Nielsen, IRI, NPD, Spins and/or retailer specific sales data.

Responsibilities:

  • Collect sales data through company specific reports, systems, and tools. Analyze data, draw conclusions, and make recommendations

  • Develop and distribute weekly open and shipper order reports

  • Partner with internal stakeholders including Supply Chain, Demand Planning, and Customer Success teams to monitor and improve customer service levels

  • Administrative duties including New Product Set-Up, SKU Rationalization, Price Forms,  assist with Trade Fund Management, and setting up new retailers in our systems

  • Provide accurate and timely reporting of data

  • Provide data and analytical support to HARIBO's business development/sales team leaders 

    Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, or other related fields

  • 1+ years of experience in an analytical role

  • Proficiency in MS Office including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

    Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience working with data in the consumer goods industry 

  • 3+ years of experience in a sales support role specifically in the CPG / Consumer Packaged Goods industry

  • Prior experience in candy or confectionary industry preferred

  • Advanced Excel skills

  • Experience working with syndicated data such as Nielsen, IRI, Spins, or other POS sales data

  • Demonstrated strong analytical skills

  • Prior experience with creating presentations and presenting information to stakeholders
