A rapidly growing PE-backed fitness organization is seeking a talented AP Specialist professional to join their accounting team!

This person will be responsible for invoice analysis & processing, processing vendor payments, maintaining vendor information & more (see below)

• Analyze invoices and expense reports for accuracy and eligibility for payment, including entering invoices as needed

• Follow invoices through the approval process and work with stakeholders as needed

• Process vendor payments: check payments, ACH, and wire transfers

• Communicate effectively and professionally with vendors and internal stakeholders

• Assist in preparation and review of accounts payable reports

• Assist with internal and external audit requests

• Assist in maintaining up to date vendor files in accounting system

• Assist with annual Form 1099 filing

• Initiate investigations and owns any follow up needed

• Assist in finding and implementing process efficiencies

• Perform ad-hoc analysis and other job related duties as assigned

This position will be 4 days onsite & work from home on Fridays. Their office will be in the beautiful Tuscan Village in Salem, NH, offering great shopping, food and lifestyle amenities.

Targeted compensation is $25/hr to $30/hr and will be eligible for over-time pay -- over-time is projected to be about 5-10hrs per month.

Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required

• Strong understanding of Accounting Functions is necessary

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is mandatory

• Familiarity with NetSuite software is desirable

• Knowledge of Coupa software is a plus
