The focus of this position is to be part of our server administration team as a system administrator, within the Computing and Technology Group at Huntsman Cancer Institute.Works within our team environment to support, install and monitor core IT infrastructure that are primarily on-premises, but may include some cloud computing responsibilities in the future.Manages, plans, and installs new software releases and system upgrades for operating systems and applications, and related projects by developing test and implementation plans along with project timelines.Follow up and coordinate with customers, internal staff, and vendors as required.Will be part of our rotating 24x7 on-call system administration coverage.Document equipment configurations, procedures, and guidelines in order to provide accurate information related to IT services.Perform regular security monitoring and auditing on system resources to identify possible security issues.Huntsman Cancer Institute is committed to cancer prevention, care, and survivorship for all communities within the area we serve which includes Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Utah, and Wyoming with impact worldwide.
