Job Description

Insight Global is looking to add a Sr. Application Architect to a federal clients program that is remote outside of a travel requirement to O'Fallon, IL held 4 times per year. This position will develop high level system design diagrams using Microsoft Office Visio for graphical or other appropriate application for tabular or prose-based artifacts.

Responsibilities include:

Responsible for functioning as a top technical expert supporting an enterprise technical infrastructure.

Studies and analyzes system needs, system development, systems process analysis, design, and re-engineering.

Works with the enterprise to solve business problems with technology including hardware, software, databases, operating systems, and networks.

Designs and defines information technology (IT) system architecture for integration of multiple platforms, operating systems, and applications across the enterprise.

Determines systems specifications, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility and maintenance of system security.

Develops and documents the framework for integration and implementation for changes to technical standards.

Assists in the development and management of an architecture governance process.

Skills and Requirements

5-7+ years of relevant development experience (2-3+ in an architectural or similar role)

Secret clearance

Bachelors degree

Within 4 hours of O'Fallon Illinois (this team works remotely apart from planning meetings held every 10 weeks requiring to be onsite in O'fallon Illinois) Java focused development null
