Amazon Sr. Technical Program Manager, VCR in Seattle, Washington
Description
The Video Content Research (VCR) team within Prime Video is looking for a Technical Program Manager to be the primary owner for the team's content valuation tools. The team owns the content valuation framework which is used by content, finance, strategy, and marketing teams across Prime Video to decide what shows to make or license and to measure how well they performed. This role will work with science, engineering, and business teams to develop and own requirements, working backwards timelines, and recurring mechanisms to ensure that ensure that our stakeholders have access to data-driven decision-making at every step of the content decision process.
Key job responsibilities
Own aspects of product development end-to-end, from concept all the way to launch
Collaborate closely with business, engineering, and science teams to understand the business decision process and improve data-driven decisions
Communicate regularly with senior management on status, risks, and change control
Identify and promote process changes to increase completeness and efficiency
Write effective narratives and present them to senior leadership.

Basic Qualifications
5+ years of technical product or program management experience
3+ years of software development experience
5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
Experience building and evaluating system-level technical design
Experience developing and executing/delivering product and technical roadmaps
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $119,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
