We are seeking a skilled and experienced financial controller to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial management principles and practices, as well as experience in the e-commerce industry. They will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of our e-commerce business, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.

Job Responsibilities:

Oversee the accounting department and work directly to ensure that financial records are accurate and compliant.

Prepare financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.

Manages the annual financial audit process performed by the independent CPA firm.

Oversee the preparation of bank covenants.

Report to senior management on the financial performance of the business.

Keeps up-to-date on information and technology affecting financial area(s) to increase innovation and ensure compliance.

Advise management on financial matters. Ensure compliance with financial regulations.

Participates in a wide variety of special projects and reporting as needed.

Prepare and maintain employment records related to events such as hiring, terminations, leaves of absences, transfers, disciplinary actions or promotions.

In consultation with management, administer disciplinary actions and terminations in accordance with corporate guidelines and applicable local, State and Federal laws.

Coordinate, administer and support various HR programs/initiatives, using continuous improvement methodologies to monitor programs for efficiency/effectiveness.
