Job Summary:

Raytheon is seeking a Principal Activity-Based (ABI) Engineer to be a part of a team that performs and provides support to high energy projects supporting the intelligence community. This position operates, tests, and integrates new systems in support of ABI activities. You will work closely with customers, engage with various system end users and mission partners to determine required solutions .

• This position is an onsite role – Near Springfield, Virginia

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

• Evaluate customer operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements .

• Design, develop and verify a lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions .

• Integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces.

• Operate Research and Development (R&D) initial operations for systems developed by multiple customers .

• Implement new Concept of Operations (CONOPS) and procedures for the intelligence community while maintaining operations in the current system .

Basic Qualifications:

Typically requires a Bachelor’s in science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of 8 years of prior engineering experience or equivalent.

• Progressive responsibilities in operations and maintenance

• National level intelligence disciplines and able to incorporate them into program development.

• ISR TCPED processes from both a tactical and strategic perspective

• An active and in-scope TS/SCI with CI Poly U.S. security clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

• Discrepancy Reporting tools

• Quantifiable, measurable assessment of available data inputs.

• Data analytic tools (SPLUNK, KIBANA) .

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
