POSITION PURPOSE

Liberator Medical Supply, a BD company, seeks a passionate and strategic Software Engineer to lead the charge in building a best-in-class B2C e-commerce experience.

In this pivotal role, you'll spearhead the development of innovative Salesforce Commerce Cloud solutions that empower our teams to make data-driven decisions that prioritize the customer at every touchpoint. You'll play a key role in achieving our vision: to create world-class services that seamlessly integrate with our offerings, making it easier for patients to manage their health, improve their lives, and access the products they need.

This is a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of healthcare e-commerce. You'll leverage your expertise in Salesforce Commerce Cloud to deliver a frictionless customer journey through seamless integration with external systems and APIs.

The ideal candidate has a passion for digital technology, analytics, and leveraging them to elevate marketing efforts. This is a highly visible business impacting position and we are seeking an agile practitioner, who fosters teamwork, and can build strong interpersonal relationships with leadership, stakeholders, and technology teams. You will have a focus on building the right functionality in the right order and helping overcome obstacles. You must be highly analytical, detail-oriented, and naturally curious with the ability to improvise and develop creative solutions when common approaches fail. Exhibiting a preference for pragmatism over idealism during uncertain times, maintain an unwavering curiosity and genuine passion for honing your craft.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design, develop, and implement new features and functionalities on the Salesforce Commerce Cloud platform (SFCC) using best practices, secure coding principles, and ensuring HIPAA compliance.

  • Lead and mentor a team of B2C Salesforce Commerce Cloud developers, providing technical guidance, code reviews, and performance feedback.

  • Demonstrate strong experience designing a solution with a multi-site architecture with unique site content, shared and separate site code, shared content libraries, and common code, features, and integrations.

  • Utilize the B2C-CRM-Sync framework to seamlessly connect SFCC with customer relationship management (CRM) systems.

  • Lead the successful implementation and ongoing management of integrations between SFCC and Salesforce Order Management System (OMS) to ensure efficient order fulfillment.

  • Lead and manage a geographically dispersed development team, fostering effective collaboration between onshore and offshore contractors.

  • Collaborate with Health Cloud & Marketing Cloud developers for seamless e-commerce and marketing automation integration.

  • Integrate SFCC with external systems and APIs to create a seamless customer journey.

  • Stay up to date with the latest advancements in SFCC, HIPAA regulations, secure coding practices, and cross-browser testing tools.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues while maintaining security best practices.

  • Monitor Salesforce releases and roadmaps to stay up to date with the latest platform enhancements.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS OR QUALIFICATIONS

  • Have a bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).

  • A minimum of 8 years of software engineering experience, including 5 years of experience as a Senior Salesforce Commerce Cloud Developer.

  • At least 2 years of experience as a Lead Engineer, with a proven track record of successfully implementing and managing Agile processes, fostering collaboration, and delivering high quality solutions.

  • Have a strong understanding of Salesforce Commerce Cloud (B2C) architecture, including expert-level technical design expertise, and a proven record of recommending and implementing best practices to drive optimal system performance.

  • Experience with Salesforce Payments for integrated payments required.

  • Experience with Salesforce Order Management System for order fulfillment required.

  • Proven experience with SFCC core components including product catalog, pricing, promotions, cart/checkout, and customer profiles.

  • Salesforce B2C Commerce Cloud Developer Certification preferred.

  • Experience integrating Ordergroove, Stripe, Experian, and Vertex preferred.

  • Experience with digital wallets a plus.

  • Strong understanding of web development principles (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and secure coding practices.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

  • A problem-solving mindset and a passion for delivering high-quality, secure, and scalable solutions.

  • Previous experience in the healthcare industry or familiarity with healthcare-related processes and data preferred.

  • Experience with front-end frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js, etc.) a plus.

  • Experience with RESTful and SOAP API integrations.

  • Strong understanding of SDLC processes and software development best practices.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of effectively engaging with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
